After becoming media sensation, young reporter prepares to head back to school for the 6th grade

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) 11-year-old Jaden Jefferson was signing autographs today at 13abc.

Earlier this week he interviewed democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren.

Which led to an appearance on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News.

"I never expected it. I would watch GMA and see kids go viral for a lemonade stand but i never expected to be one of those kids. I thought it would just be a local thing. I never expected it to go national like it did."

Jaden first visited our 13abc studio a few years ago. He even had a chance to meet chief meteorologist Jay Berschback, whom he made sure to give a shoutout during his CNN hit.

This afternoon he was able to fit us in again, appearing on the noon show.

The Maumee Valley Country Day student will be heading into the 6th grade in a few weeks, so he is trying to squeeze as much content in as he can on his website, and on his social media platforms.

He's even helping us Stuff The Bus Friday.

And he's confident in the career choice.

"My brother said journalism doesn't pay. I don't think that's the case now. Journalism is a really rewarding career choice journalism pays it just takes time."
