Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. honors MLK by awarding scholarships to students

(TOLEDO, OH WTVG) Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Junior with its annual scholarship breakfast. The money raised goes toward college scholarships for students in Northwest Ohio
The event takes place Saturday, January 19th at the Pinnacle in Maumee.
This year's theme is Silent No More. The Guest Speaker is Dr. Maurice A. Stinnett.
in July, Stinnett became the first African American man to be appointed as Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at an NBA team with BSE Global. The company develops and operates venues and manages premier sports franchises, including the NBA's Brooklyn Nets, NHL's New York Islanders, and the Barclays Center. The event begins at 9 am.
