Ambulance crashes into building, 3 paramedics injured

FINDLAY, Ohio (WTVG) - Three paramedics are injured after their ambulance crashes into a vacant building in Findlay Monday

According to Findlay Police, the ambulance was travelling south on N. Main with a patient. While approaching Foulke, the ambulance used the northbound lane to avoid a traffic jam. It was hit by a southbound box truck turning left onto Foulke, crashing into a nearby vacant building.

All three paramedics were taken to the hospital. The patient was strapped into the gurney, and was not injured in the accident.

The ambulance was running its sirens and flashing lights.

The other driver was cited for not yielding for an ambulance.
