TOLEDO, Ohio (13abc Action News) - Toledo's Jamie Farr is back at the Stranahan Saturday and bringing stories, show clips and plenty of memories with him.
"An Evening with Jamie Farr" takes the stage at the Stranahan Theater Saturday, October 7th.
Farr returns to his home for the second time this year. Last month, he was honored at a Toledo Mud Hens game and was presented with a new plaque at Jamie Farr Park.
The 83-year-old actor says he didn't want to disappoint his hometown fans after being forced to withdraw from a scheduled performance of "Tuesdays with Morris" and scheduled the new show as a replacement.
The "Evening with Jamie Farr" will include personal stories, show outtakes and a question and answer session with the audience.
Ticket holders for "Tuesdays with Morris" may use their tickets for the production. Tickets are still available through the Stranahan box office for the 8:00pm performance.
13abc's Lee Conklin will join Farr on stage to facilitate questions and answers. .
Farr starred on M*A*S*H for eleven years and has written books and has acted on stage, in movies and other television shows during his career.
He was inducted into the Toledo Mud Hens Hall of Fame and honored with a new plaque by the City of Toledo at Jamie Farr Park in August.
He was also host of the Jamie Farr LPGA Classic in Toledo for decades which raised millions of dollars for children's charities.
