Authorities investigate break-in at Towers Armory in Oregon

OREGON, Ohio (WTVG) - Authorities are investigating after a reported break-in at Towers Armory in Oregon.

According to the company's Facebook page, someone broke in to the gun store and range around 3:00am Monday. The store is now closed for the next two to three days.

Oregon police chief Mike Navarre tells 13abc the suspects broke in through the roof of the building. Police are working with the business owners to figure out exactly what was taken.

Chief Navarre says he believes a significant amount of firearms, including long guns and hand guns, were taken. Towers Armory does rent out fully-automatic weapons for use at its range.

The business is asking anyone with any information to call the Toledo field office of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) at (419) 245-5115.
