Police: Body found in Toledo woods

Toledo police say a man's body was found in the woods on the 1300 block of Brooke Park near the Ohio, Michigan border.

According to police, children discovered the body while playing near the woods. Police were called to the scene around 3:00 p.m.

Detectives say the death doesn't appear to be suspicious, but they are waiting on the coroner to declare an official cause of death.

According to detectives the person had been dead for a significant amount of time. At this point, the victim has not been identified.
