Four suspects arrested after police find 54 vehicles with windows broken out

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WTVG) - Police in Bowling Green are investigating another round of vehicle break-ins.

Authorities say someone reported their vehicle was broken into on the 500 block of Lehman Ave.just before 4:00am Friday. Upon further investigation, police found 53 other vehicles also had a window broken out in the areas of 480 Lehman,300 Lehman, 325 S. Summit, 995 S. Main and 1000 block of Fairview.

Witnesses gave officers a description of the suspects' vehicle. Detectives tracked down a car matching that description and arrested Shywoun Lanier, 22, from Toledo, Leonard Richardson Jr., 18, from Toledo, Davion Tyler, 18, from Toledo and Kallin Gary, 19, from Toledo for Criminal Damaging, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Tools and Receiving Stolen Property.

This comes after several other reported incidents back in March. At that time, the Bowling Green Police Division responded to the areas of the 1400 block of Clough and 100 block of State St. regarding numerous reports of vehicles that had been broken into.

Officers responded to the area and located multiple vehicles that had a window broken out of them. Several of the vehicles appeared to have been entered by a suspect looking to steal property.

There were also several reported dozens of additional vehicle break-ins in Bowling Green and Rossford back in March. Bowling Green police tell 13abc there are similarities among all of the incidents, but it's too early to tell whether they are all connected.
