CLEVELAND (WTVG) - An auction house in Cleveland is listing items from Cedar Point's Town Hall Museum in a November 18 auction.
Gray’s Auctioneers on Cleveland's West side is offering artifacts and amusements from the museum, including an antique steam fire pumper; an entire apothecary store display from the early 20th century, and vintage arcade games.
Some of the more expensive items listed are a 1930s era Grandmother's Predictions Machine, which is estimated to fetch $10,000. A 1907 Fleming Steam Garden Tractor and Water Carriage could get up to $20,000 by estimates.
An American LaFrance Steam Fire Engine is estimated to get up to $250,000. The horse-drawn steam pumping engine was built for the Greensboro, North Carolina Fire Department in 1904. It was purchased for display at Cedar Point in 1970 and completely restored in 1971.
