Couple indicted on terrorism charges for trying to bomb bar

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Two people charged in connection with trying to bomb a Toledo bar have been indicted by a federal grand jury.

That grand jury indicting Elizabeth Lecron, 23, and Vincent Armstrong, 23, for the following charges: conspiracy to transport or receive an explosive with intent to kill; conspiracy to use a destructive device during a crime; conspiracy to use a firearm during a crime of violence and possession of a firearm in furtherance of crime of violence.

Armstrong is also accused of lying to investigators. Lecron is also charged with transporting explosive in interstate commerce.

The exact bar they are accused of trying to attack was not released.

According to investigators Lecron has communicated with convicted Charleston Church shooter Dylan Roof and she also visited the site of the Columbine High School shooting.

Investigators say Lecron and Armstrong are boyfriend/girlfriend.

If convicted, the couple could face life in prison.
