High Wind Warning in effect for Sunday (Update)
A very strong storm system will bring warmer temperatures, and the possibility of wind gusts up to 60 mph today.
Our high temperature peaked around midnight at 50°, and is expected to continue falling to the 30s by this afternoon. As temperatures fall, any leftover rain could change over to snow for a brief period before the precipitation moves out.
The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning through 1:00 AM Monday. Sustained winds will be out of the southwest from 30 to 40 mph during the daylight hours today. Top wind gusts are expected to be in the 50 to 60 mph range. This could lead to downed tree limbs and scattered power outages.
