Deshler police chief indicted on felony charges

DESHLER, Ohio (WTVG) - Deshler police chief Ryan Bowersox has been indicted on three counts of unauthorized use of the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway, according to the Henry County prosecutor. The charge is a third degree felony.

Authorities say a search warrant was executed on Thursday at 230 Blaine St, in Hamler and at the Deshler police department. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Henry County sheriff's office were involved in the investigation.

The warrant was executed for stolen guns, steroids and other evidence. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and asks that anyone with information on the case contact the Henry County sheriff's office.
