Dolce Vita Italian closing for business after Sunday

MONROE COUNTY, Mich. (WTVG) - Dolce Vita Italian in Monroe County is closing its doors for good.

The business owners announced on Facebook the restaurant's last day will be Sunday, March 10.

Owner Nino Perna writes, "This is an extremely difficult decision, reached after many months of strategizing to remain sustainable. For the past 11 years, my goal has always been to carry on my parents’ dream - to fill an unmet need in the community by providing fresh food at fair prices in an upscale environment.”

According to the social media post, Nick & Nino’s Coal fired Pizza at 391 North Telegraph Road in Monroe will continue to operate.
