BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WTVG) - Contractors in Downtown Bowling Green are preparing to install water service lines, a gravity sanitary sewer line and manholes. For drivers, that means navigating some additional lane restrictions and road closures.

Starting Monday, May 13, East Wooster Street will be closed to traffic between Main Street and Prospect Street. The closure should be lifted by 5 p.m on Wednesday.

Beginning Monday, May 20, South Main Street will be closed from Wooster to Clough Street. This closure is expected to be lifted by 5:00 p.m on May 24.

During both of these closures, traffic will be detoured onto local streets. Semis are asked to use Poe, Thurstin and Napoleon.

All utility work is expected to wrap up by the end of the spring. Once it's complete, downtown will be repaved.
