He made history. Now, you can own one of his cowboy hats.
An estate sale is underway at the Maryland home of the late John Glenn.
Glenn was a U.S. Senator from Ohio for 24 years. He was born in the Buckeye state and died in Columbus in December 2016 at the age of 95.
He also became a national hero in 1962 as the first American to orbit the Earth.
This weekend, there is a crowd at his home in Potomac, Maryland.
Local news media report people touring Glenn's three-level house and buying items for sale, including cowboy hats, pipes and model airplanes.
The sale continues throughout the weekend.
