FDA says teen vaping is an epidemic, local school district weighs in

The FDA announced this week teenage use of e-cigarettes is an epidemic.

In Ohio, the legal age to purchase a vape product is 18.

The FDA is now ordering manufacturers to reverse the trend of underage users, or flavored vaping products will be pulled from the market.

Local school districts like Springfield agree teen vaping is a problem. There are strict policies in place to make sure students don't vape while at school, such as suspension if caught.
