TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Michigan State Police (MSP) still confirm the man killed and dumped in a Lenawee County cornfield is James Wappner from Toledo.

According to MSP, two suspects have been arrested in connection with the case. Authorities in Aurora, Colorado confirm officers there arrested two people believed to be linked to the case on Dec. 20. Neither MSP nor police in Colorado would release any additional information.

Mr. Vinny Riccardi tells 13abc Wappner was his son. He says he was numb after learning he was killed.

MSP detectives are looking into whether Wappner was killed in Toledo and then dumped in Michigan. Detectives have not said if the hunting cameras mounted in the area where Wappner was dumped caught anything.
