Federal agents served a search warrant at four locations in Monroe County. Michigan Wednesday morning.

According to Khalid Walls, a public information officer for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), this is part of an ICE Homeland Security Investigations-led case. Walls says this is part of a criminal probe and the search warrants are sealed in federal court.

Authorities searched three homes in Monroe County as well as the Super China Buffet locations in Monroe and Taylor. Walls confirms the searches are related.

By 1:30pm, agents had left the Super China Buffet in Monroe. The business was open at that time. An attorney for the owner inside told 13abc, "No comment."

Walls says the federal search warrants are sealed and it will likely be weeks or even months before any updates are available.
