Findlay narcotics search warrant results in arrest

FINDLAY, Ohio (WTVG) - In the early morning hours of October 18, 2018, the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force, with assistance of the Findlay Police Department Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a search warrant at 133 Woodley Terrace, Findlay, Ohio.

The search of the residence yielded, cocaine, marijuana, cash, a firearm, drug paraphernalia, and items indicative of drug trafficking.

As a result of the search warrant, Raven Merschman, aged 28 was arrested and incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center. Initial charges filed are possession of cocaine which is a 5th degree felony.

Additional drug related charges are expected pending the conclusion of this investigation.

According to the release sent by the Findlay Police Department, the Hancock METRICH Drug Enforcement Unit is supported by METRICH in Mansfield, OH and funded in part by the Office of Criminal Justice Services.
