Fire crews respond to semi fire on Ohio Turnpike

Fire crews are responding to a semi on fire at mile marker 68 on the WB side of the Ohio Turnpike, near the I-280 interchange.

Police have closed down a section of the highway while they work to extinguish the fire and clear the scene. According to the Ohio Turnpike Twitter account, the center and left lanes are closed and they expect delays as a result.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the semi was the only vehicle involved in the incident. They could not provide details on the cause of the fire or whether there were any injuries as a result.
