Firefighters from multiple agencies worked to battle a fire Saturday night on a Great Lakes freighter docked in Oregon.

Dispatchers say they got the call around 8:45 at the Torco Docks off Otter Creek near Bayshore.

The name of the ship that caught fire is the St. Clair. Port authority leaders tell 13abc the freighter is docked there for winter maintenance and wasn’t carrying any cargo.

At this point it’s unclear how the blaze started, but the ship was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.

Oregon, Jerusalem Township, Lake Township and other firefighters all assisted with the blaze. The coast guard and Red Cross were also called to help.
