Roads reopen in Jerusalem Twp. after flooding

JERUSALEM TWP., Ohio (WTVG) - Flooding caused by wind and rain forced the Lucas County Sheriff's Department to close down a number of roads in Jerusalem Twp. on Wednesday morning.

As of 4am Thursday morning, dispatchers confirm Seaman Rd. between Teachout and Yondota is open. The barrels are still up on Bono Road at the Cooley Canal Yacht Club, but dispatchers say it is all clear.

Drivers are reminded to use extreme caution when proceeding through flooded areas. You should never drive through water when you do not know the depth. If you do get trapped in flood waters, police ask that you call 9-1-1 and do not exit your vehicle.
