TOLEDO (WTVG) - Former Mercy Health St. Vincent police chief Peter D'Amore was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to committing theft in office.

D'Amore, who plead guilty in October, was sentenced to two years community control, 200 hours of community service, and 90 days of electronic monitoring. He's already paid $24,000 in restitution.
Court documents said D'Amore tried to steal $7,500 worth of property services. According to a Toledo Police report, the investigation into D'Amore opened in February 2019.
