Four injured when passenger car collides with semi in Fulton County

WAUSEON, Ohio (WTVG) - At least four people were hurt, two critically, after an accident on the Turnpike in Fulton County just after 11 PM on Tuesday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Fulton County Sheriff's office, a passenger vehicle slammed into the back of a semi as both were travelling in the westbound lanes near Wauseon. After the collision, the car flipped over and landed on the side of the roadway.

At least two passengers from the car were transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Hospital by medical helicopter. The driver of the truck was not hurt.

The accident remains under investigation.
