Giant jackpots for lotteries attract players

(TOLEDO) - Lottery players have a choice. They can go for the $393 million prize in tonight's Mega Millions drawing. Or they may choose a ticket for $356 million in the Powerball lottery. To borrow a line from the scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, "of course people do go both ways."

The combined $749 million up for grabs between the two lotteries at the same time is a first. The Mega Millions drawing will be held at 11:00pm Friday live on 13abc. The Powerball drawing will be held at 11:00pm Saturday live on 13abc.

The odds of winning both jackpots: 1 in 75,000,000,000,000,000.
