Great weather for pumpkin crops and patch pickers
People waiting for a real Fall chill finally got their wish. Cooler temperatures on Monday sent many out enjoying Fall festivities, including a trip to the local pumpkin patches.
This season’s crop had to face warmer than normal temperatures and the Gust Brother’s from Gust Brother’s Pumpkin Farm in Ottawa Lake, Michigan say the September heat did hurt a little. But only affected the crop by a few percent. Overall they’re in great shape, with business picking up.
The days ahead and this upcoming weekend are expected to be one of the busiest, so grab those pumpkins before they are gone!
