No threat found Friday after HAZMAT response at Government Center

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - UPDATE: The substance found Friday at the Toledo Government Center has been tested and determined to not be toxic.

Tests did not determine exactly what the substance was. The letter was given back to the Lucas County Auditor's Office.

Multiple police and fire units have responded to a suspicious substance found at the Toledo Government Center.

The call went out around 3 p.m. Friday of a white substance found at the downtown facility.

Toledo Fire Department cleared the scene shortly after 5 p.m., finding nothing hazardous after envelope with white powdery substance was delivered with dog license application.
