Perrysburg death investigation ruled murder-suicide, uncle killed niece, according to police

Perrysburg Township police are investigating the deaths of a male and female found in a mobile home.

Officers were called to check the safety of a relative in the Friendly Village mobile home park. Authorities searched the property and found the two bodies in the living room.

Perrysburg Township police say the victim Nicole Delamotte-Ullman, 30, was visiting her uncle, Robert J. Delamotte, 67, when Robery shot Nichole to death before turning the gun on himself.

According to the Wood County coroner's office, Nicole Delamotte-Ullman died of multiple gunshot wounds, her uncle, Robery Delamotte, died of a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Delamotte-Ullman was a reporter in Cleveland. Her friend tells 13abc she was visiting her estranged uncle and was trying to make amends and reconnect with him. According to the Cleveland.com, the Delamotte-Ullman's mother reported her daughter missing and she met the police at the trailer park.

Police aren't releasing any additional details about the investigation at this time, but the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is collecting evidence at the home. Investigators say they will be in the neighborhood for several hours.
