(IDA, MI) - An annual night holiday parade will light up Ida, Michigan and the hearts of thousands of Christmas parade watchers this weekend.
It's the 35th annual Christmas in Ida festival featuring concerts, craft shows, children's activities and a large parade of lights.
The Christmas in Ida Festival begins Friday with a holiday concert. Saturday evening activities include a fireworks display followed by "the Granddaddy of all light parades" featuring more than 125 illuminated and animated parade entries that light up the village for nearly two hours. 13abc will be included in the parade with our "Hope for the Holidays" parade float.
Fireworks begin at 6:30pm and the Parade of Lights is scheduled to begin downtown at 7:00pm.
