"Large" water main break leaving part of Temperance with low water pressure

TEMPERANCE, Mich. (WTVG) - People in Temperance are waking up to low water pressure in their homes this morning. That's according to Monroe County dispatchers.

Dispatchers tell 13abc that a large water main break at the intersection of Lewis and Smith is causing the low water pressure, plus traffic issues in the area.

Calls about the break started coming into the dispatch center around 8:30 AM Saturday, dispatchers say.

No word on if the intersection is closed. Workers with the water department are on scene making repairs. No word on how long until water service returns to normal, or how many homes are affected,
