No charges filed in deadly dog fight

Police are investigating after a man died from injuries sustained when a dog attacked.
According to Fostoria police documents, witnesses called 9-1-1 late Friday night. The Seneca County Dog Warden's office tells 13abc a woman was walking a larger dog on Davoli St. in Fostoria. That's when a smaller dog ran from its yard and was attacked by the larger dog.
According to family members, Michael E. Parks, 60, tried to pull the dogs apart. He was bitten and later died from his injuries from the dog bite.
The chief of the Fostoria Police Department says the case has been presented to the Seneca County Prosecutor's office. Authorities say no charges have been filed.
The Dog Warden's office says the larger dog is in quarantine. According to police documents, the smaller dog suffered serious injuries. The dog warden's office was uncertain of the smaller dog's condition.
