TOLEDO (WTVG) - Federal employees feeling the pinch as the partial government shutdown stretches past their first week without a paycheck don't have to give up all their weekend activities. The National Museum of the Great Lakes is offering free admission to federal employees impacted by the furlough.
The museum will allow free admission for federal employees and a guest through the end of January. Those interested in taking advantage of the free admission simply need to present their government ID at the admission desk.
The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 12-5.
