Neighbors make plea to the city to clean up trash at vacant home

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - John Clark says he's been waking up to an eyesore of trash bags, plastic, and other garbage that blows around his neighborhood since April.
A vacant home on Price Street has been inspected by the City of Toledo 22 times since 2015.
Two of those visits were because Clark called for something to be done about the debris that had been sitting at the home for four months.
After two inspections, but no debris removal, Clark reached out to 13abc for action.
"Just get rid of this eyesore, and this hazard. This is horrible," Clark says.
We reached out to the City of Toledo, who gave us the following statement:
"The debris has not been removed yet. That is definitely a failure on our part to follow up to ensure the debris was removed."
A spokesperson for the City of Toledo tells us the piles of trash will be removed tomorrow.
