NORTHWOOD, OH - (WTVG) - Northwood has spent five years cleaning the old Woodville Mall site.
It used to be home to the first shopping mall in Northwest Ohio. Today, it's vacant with dirt and concrete and piles of stone marking the spot where shoppers once spent money and a community thrived.
But what to do with this property?
Northwood will soon acquire the last parcel of this 133-acre site. From there, it wants to build a new road into the property and a boulevard through the property with other utilities infrastructure benefits to attract development.
Residents want mixed use, and The Enclaves options could provide that.
