Ohio Turnpike reopened after serious motorcycle accident leaves two hurt

Part of the Ohio Turnpike closed Saturday morning due to a motorcycle crash.

According to officials with the Ohio Turnpike, the westbound lanes were closed near mile post 77.6 in Sandusky County for about an hour.

The Swanton Post of the OSHP responded. A sergeant told 13abc two people from Wisconsin were riding on a motorcycle that crashed into a commercial truck around 10:45 AM.

Both the driver and passenger of the motorcycle were taken to the hospital for treatment of "serious injuries."

The truck driver was not hurt.
