One arrested after overnight homicide in Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Toledo police have arrested one person following a homicide in the city early on Thursday.

According to police, officers responded to the 1800 block of North Erie just after 2 AM Thursday for a fight. There they found the victim, Charles Snyder, 52, suffering from a head injury. Snyder was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police arrested James Friesel, 54, at the scene following an investigation by detectives. He has been charged with murder.
