TOLEDO (WTVG) - One person is dead after an early morning police pursuit crash in Toledo on Saturday.

It happened at about 1:30 a.m. on the 3000 block of Airport Highway, between South Ave. and Byrne.

Police attempted to stop Rolando Rosales, 42, for a traffic violation at the Anthony Wayne Trail and Western Ave., but Rosales failed to stop.

Rosales led police on a vehicle pursuit until he lost control of the vehicle near the 3000 block of Airport Hwy. Rosales was ejected from the vehicle and did not survive.

Police say Rosales was traveling southwest on Airport Highway when he drove left of center and continued off the roadway, striking two utility poles and causing the vehicle to flip onto its side.
