Operation Toy Drive takes to local air waves

(PERRYSBURG) - Operation Toy Drive takes place Friday to help make sure local children enjoy a Merry Christmas.

The drive through drop-off will be held all day at Walt Churchill's Market in Perrysburg. The public is invited to drop off donations from 6:00am until 6:00pm to benefit the Toys for Tots operated by the Marine Corps Reserve. Toys for Tots is also a partner in 13abc's Hope for the Holidays toy drive.

Cumulus radio stations including K100, Q105.5, 93.5 WRQN will broadcast from Churchill's. Cumulus is the radio partner of 13abc.

Walt Churchill has expressed his support for Marines and their families. Churchill's Market "wants to make sure we can lend support for our community to ensure a memorable Christmas for all" according to a spokesperson.

Churchill's will also host a pet food drive on Saturday, December 2 from 10:00am until 2:00pm at the Walt Churchill's Market on Briarfield Blvd. in Maumee. Santa will be in the store from 11:00a-2:00pm.
