Trial for pastors accused of sex trafficking postponed

The trial of two pastors accused of child sex trafficking has been postponed to February.

Pastors Cordell Jenkins and Anthony Haynes were set to face trial on child sex trafficking charges on January 22nd. Cordell's ex-wife, Laura Lloyd faces her own charges of obstructing the investigation.

The trial has now been pushed back to the first week of February. An exact date has not yet been determined.

Meanwhile, Haynes' wife and step-daughter are also facing charges for intimidating a witness in the case. Alisa Haynes and Alexis Fortune allegedly assaulted and threatened the witness, attempting to get her to recant her statements to the prosecution. Haynes has since filed a motion to be released from jail ahead of the trial. That motion has not yet been granted.
