180th Fighter Wing pilot returns to base after "weapons jam" during training

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - An F-16 training with the 180th Fighter Wing had to return to base this morning following a weapons jam during routine training.

According to a base spokesperson, the plane was forced to land after the pilot experienced an issue in the 20mm cannon. The fighter wing was performing routine training exercises in Michigan when the issue occurred. The plane was able to make it back on the ground in Swanton with no injuries.
