Police arrest central Ohio man in connection to Heatherdowns bank robbery

TOLEDO (WTVG) - Toledo Police have arrested James Eickemeyer in connection with the Wednesday robbery of a Huntington Bank on Heatherdowns.

He is being charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

According to documents, Eickemeyer, 42, of Marysville, Ohio, allegedly entered the bank, presented the teller with a note demanding money, and then brandished a black firearm. The teller gave the suspect nearly $1,600 in cash, and he fled the scene.

At around 3:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the bank, where witnesses told them a white male wearing blue jeans robbed the bank and left on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

There were no reported injuries.
