Restaurant Report Card: 5.23.19 Rose Thai

At home, in your own kitchen, you may not pay attention to how you stack food inside your refrigerator.

If you work in a restaurant, a health inspector will notice.

The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department noted that violation inside Rose Thai, 5333 Monroe Street 6, Toledo. A Standard Inspection on 9-May-2019 resulted in 14 violations (6 critical & 8 non-critical). Among those violations:

X Raw chicken stored above containers of ready-to-eat sauces.

X Bottles of chemicals stored with food items.

X Boxes of food items stored directly on floor in walk in cooler.

Those three and three others were corrected during the inspection.

In response, the owner of Rose Thai told 13abc over the phone:

"We just corrected (the violations). I let the inspector tell me what she wanted to do and then I just followed her."
