TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A Lucas County Sheriff's deputy was injured after swerving to avoid a school bus that failed to yield.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol, the bus driver pulled out onto Airport Highway in front of the deputy. The deputy avoided the school bus, but ended up crashing into a utility pole.
Four students were on the bus at the time.
None were hurt and they were released to their parents.
The deputy was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
