One woman injured in Erie County crash

OXFORD TOWNSHIP (WTVG) - Officials are investigating a one vehicle crash Sunday evening in Erie County where a vehicle struck ditches on each side of the road and flipped.

According to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Lesa Macadam, of Mansfield, was driving east on SR 113 when she drove off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, re-entered the roadway, continued off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned several times before coming to rest in a farm field.

Macadam was wearing a seat belt at the time and sustained incapaciating injuries. She was transported to Mercy St. Vincent Hospital by LifeFlight.

The crash remains under investigation. According to officials, alcohol and or/drugs possibly played a factor in the crash.
