Several vacant house fires reported across the city

Toledo fire crew were busy Monday night as they battled several house fires across the city.

The first fire broke out just after 8:30 PM near North Huron Street and Chestnut Street in Toledo.

Officials tell 13abc the house was not occupied at the time of the fire. According to authorities, one firefighters fell part way through the floor but was not injured.

Crews battled the fire defensively and investigators say the fire looks suspicious.

Officials say the house is a complete loss and will be torn down.

Another fire started around 8:45 PM in the 900 block of Avondale Avenue where a vacant house went up in flames.

Fire officials say two separate fires broke out in the house, one on the first floor and one on the second floor.

A third fire broke out around 9:00 PM near Ontario and Mulberry Streets.

The house is abandoned and crews are fighting the fire defensively.

It is not clear what caused the fire and it is under investigation.
