One man is dead, another wounded, after a shooting early Sunday morning on the 1200 block of Vance St. in Toledo.

Neighbors told 13abc it happened at a motorcycle club that doesn't usually cause trouble. They woke up to multiple gun shots.

"I can't recall any kind of incident ever happening down there that the police were called out about or any kind of neighborhood disturbance," said Joseph Austin. He's lived on Vance for more than 20 years.

Officers who were in the area heard the sounds of gunfire at about 1:08 a.m. Sunday. When police arrived, they discovered two men who had each been shot at least once.

Both men were transported to a hospital. A 47-year-old man suffered non life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive. A 25-year-old man died at the hospital. Police have not released his name.

"To find out that somebody actually got shot and killed down there is really shocking to me. It's disturbing really," said Austin.

According to a spokesman with Toledo police, this is the city's 32nd homicide of the year.

If you have any information, detectives are asking you to contact Crimestopper at 419-255-1111.

13abc did reach out to TPD to see if they have any suspects or a motive and we have not yet heard back.
