Rossford, Ohio (WTVG) The new home for Rossford elementary students is a 86-thousand square foot facility, which will open in September.
Crews are still working on the finishing touches, such as more security at the entrance, with cameras and a two-sided door so staff can check credentials.
It includes a more spacious front office, staff work room, administrative offices and a clinic.
Natural light permeates through the office as well as the atrium.
Each classroom has smart technology - the room temperatures can be controlled by a lap top.
There's also a restaurant-style cafeteria.
The $24 million facility was supported by a bond issue passed in 2016.
It also supported a new stadium, as well as a new 6-12 building, which opens in January - for a total price tag of $74 million.
The district is anticipating growth because of the new Amazon fulfillment center being built in Rossford. is building a center in rossford as well.
"We know there will be a lot of families coming," superintendent Dan Creps said. "New families coming because of employment opportunities along with home Depot, an NSG glass plant, and we want to be a part of educating their kids."
