First snow of the season to be followed by frigid temperatures

TOLEDO (WTVG) - Total snow accumulations range from 2-4"/3-5" for most areas. With that said, parts of southeast Michigan and areas downwind of Lake Erie (Ottawa, Erie, Huron, Sandusky and Seneca counties) got more than 4-6".

Reports of slick/snow covered roads are coming into 13abc. Any untreated surfaces will be icy/snowy overnight into the Tuesday morning commute. We're getting school delays and closings into the newsroom for Tuesday (please check those out our list of delays and closings).

Our next weather headline is the blast of cold air on the way for Tuesday and Wednesday (record lows possible). Wind chills for the next two mornings will dip into the single digits with daytime wind chills only recovering to 10-15 degrees.

Stay with 13abc for more information.
