TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Cherry Street’s Life Revitalization Center had a significant portion of its roof blow off.
During the storm, wind peeled away a portion of the roof, resulting in over $500,000 worth of damage.
No one was injured and other programs have not yet been impacted.
Cherry Street issued a call Monday for immediate assistance in fixing the roof, in order to avoid even more catastrophic damage if another storm were to come through the area.
For more than 70 years, Cherry Street has been open 24/7 to provide basic needs for those living in poverty.
