TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) Toledo police say a 16-year-old is recovering after being shot in the face with a flare gun. Police say the teen was on Walker street just before midnight on September 11, when he and one other person were approached by two men. One of the suspects was on foot, the other was on a bike. Police say one of those men took out an orange flare gun and shot the teen in the face. The teen's mother rushed him to the hospital. Police say his injuries don't appear to be life-threatening. Police do not have any suspects in custody.
