(PERRYSBURG) - "Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time" is a quotation often attributed to Thomas Merton.

Thousands will lose and find themselves again at the 13th Levis Commons Fine Art Fair this weekend, August 19 and 20. Featured work will include painting, glass, jewelry, ceramics, photography, fiber and more. Organizers say more than 35,000 attend the annual event.

The open-air setting at the Town Center at Levis Commons offers shopping, food and beverages in addition to offerings from artisans from throughout the United States.

Hours for the fair are Saturday, August 19 from 10:00am-8:00pm and Sunday August 20 from 11:00a-5:00pm. Live music is available each day from 2:00-4:00pm. Parking and admission are free and children's activity areas will be open Saturday 11:00am-6:00pm and Sunday 11:00-4:00pm.
